Vote Ron Paul

Ron Paul is the best Presidential candidate I’ve heard speak… probably ever. If you watch this and still don’t vote for him, then I have very, very little hope for this country.

Sigh – What are we going to do if he doesn’t win?

Alexia, I relate to your feelings. All we can do is stay positive and believe… Ron Paul can win!

I believe we can overcome in a similar way that Gandhi, Martin Luther King, and our Founding Fathers who faced tough odds and succeeded in bringing positive change to the world.

Like other great persons of history, Ron Paul is compelled to do what is right. He can be an example for future generations of Americans regardless of what happens.

Ron Paul is the classic Philosopher King as described in Plato’s Republic.

Ron Paul is the intelligent thoughtful Claudius after the insane evil Caligula and Tiberius.

Ron Paul is the principled Thomas Jefferson repealing and eliminating the abusive and unconstitutional Sedition Acts.

Ron Paul is the peaceful, patient, persistent Gandhi.

Ron Paul is the insightful Dwight D. Eisenhower who warned of the Military-Industrial-Congressional Complex.

Ron Paul is the man of integrity and courage that America needs at this time.

If each of us shares Ron Paul’s message with 10 people, and they tell 10 people and they tell 10 people, etc.

We are making history — Vote Ron Paul!

@Alexa – I hear ya. We’ll just have to stay positive and try again. I believe this country and its Constitution are savable, and worth saving. No other Presidential candidate I’ve heard has indicated any “real” desire to protect our freedoms or the Constitution. I hope others have such desires, but I haven’t heard them. I’ll just say that I plan on supporting Dr. Paul in any way I can, and we’ll just try for the best.

@Hope – Well spoken :) Thanks for posting. I completely agree.

I love Ron Paul but the international bankers who have been running the world for several decades will not allow him to be elected. It’s that simple.

Ron Paul may win the nomination and also the election. But what the media will report and what the masses will be required to act on will be another story. A member of the CFR who supports a UN-governed world government will be elected without a doubt. I would guess John Edwards… mostly because he’s already been rubber-stamped by the elites, at one of the last Bilderberg meetings.

The voting machines are rigged, and the media is a mouthpiece for special interests, and democracy no longer exists in the USA. How can anyone really get elected?

They are letting Ron Paul generate buzz and this gives the “appearance” of democracy, but that is all. In addition, this also lets the international bankers collect IP address and information on anyone who may be a possible problem after it’s clear we are no longer a democracy. They want to know who is going to be a dissenter, early on in the game. I’m not a dissenter — I’m just a peaceful dude who sees the obvious.

I am moving out of this fucked up country once and for all. I just hope I can get out fast enough before my home loses $60K in equity and my US dollars lose another 14% due to inflation.

Ron Paul is tanking in all the latest national polls: Newsweek, ABC, Washington Post, ect… 1 to 2% down there with Tommy Thompson, Huckabee, and Tancredo. This, after 6 months of campaigning by Paul.

Meanwhile Giuliani is surging, up to 37% in one poll, way out ahead of the pack.

The NY Daily News headlined this morning: “This is now a Rudy versus Hillary Race.”

@Liveandletlive – I don’t know about all of that tinfoil-hat stuff, but I will say that I’m sure there are people who are in power, who don’t want to see that power given to us by the likes of Ron Paul. I’m also sure you’re right about the media, because I’ve yet to even hear his name spoken in the alphabet-soup (abc, nbc, cbs, cnn, etc.). However, I do think the will of the people still matters for something. I just hope the government schools haven’t produced too many morons for Dr. Ron’s message to break through and resonate with the public. It’s astonishing how many people think socialism (even if they don’t know it’s called that) is a good idea. No matter how many times socialist systems fail, people always love to try again. It’s simply a power grab by people like Obama and Clinton. I believe that they know it’s bad for the people, but they also know that the people are so stupid that they’ll think it’s a great idea. And, if things continue as they are, it’ll get one of the two of them elected. I just hope that all love of liberty isn’t gone and that Dr. Paul’s message will therefore cause an uprising against all other candidates and the congress, and that freedom will once again sweep the nation.

@Eric – I can appreciate your poll numbers, but I frankly don’t care. I also don’t like you calling yourself a libertarian if you’re so willing to throw away your convictions and principals for a perceived chance at victory. I don’t dislike Giuliani, but he’s certainly NOT anywhere near libertarian. Ron Paul is. The only way I’ll be able to like myself on 11/03/08 is if I just voted for Ron Paul. And I think any true libertarian (note the little “l”) should feel the same.

I’ve got 25 years of hardcore libertarian activism under my belt, including 12 years working for Ron Paul, 6 as his Senior Congressional Aide.

I can tell you Giuliani is far more libertarian than Paul.

I am a very, very, very proud LIBERTARIAN. That’s L-I-B-E-R-T-A-R-I-A-N. And will call myself a “libertarian” til my dying day.

You don’t get any more libertarian than me. I challenge you to find a more hardcore libertarian activist in the Nation, with a libertarian resume to match mine. (Maybe Paul Jacob? Kohlhaas, too maybe? But that’s about it.)

@Eric – I’ll take you at your word about your libertarian credentials. I apologize for taking you as merely a Giuliani fan-boy and claiming libertarian merely to appear smart in your comment. However, I don’t see how you can claim that Giuliani is MORE libertarian than Paul. I’ve heard them both speak and Paul is unquestionably more principled (as far as I know). I’d love to hear about your evidence for Giuliani’s libertarian cred. Like I said, I do like Giuliani. He was my personal front-runner until I found Dr. Paul. I haven’t heard Giuliani say anything about abolishing the income tax or the IRS, repealing the 16th and 17th amendments, dismantling the departments of education, energy, and homeland security, or even an opposition to the welfare state, or socialized medicine. If he does support those things, then I’d be glad to also support him.

Record of cutting taxes 23 times as Mayor of NYC.

Recent comments blasting HillaryCare as “Nanny-State” proposals.

Recent appointment of hardcore libertarian think tanker Sally Pipes as Top Giuliani Campaign Advisory.

I can appreciate all of that. And I’ll certainly take that into consideration. But Ron Paul is still, in my opinion the only philosophically libertarian candidate in the race. I’m also having a hard time getting past Giuliani being so completely uneducated about the Fair Tax in the CNN debate. Huckabee got it right and Dr. Paul doesn’t need to support the Fair Tax because he wants to limit government to the point where taxing us is unnecessary and openly supports repealing the 16th amendment.
